Online Rental Application Setup Instructions

You have arrived at this page because you are ready to be set up with the Rental Research Online Rental Application! The instructions are listed below. If you have any questions, please contact us at 800-328-0333!

Please note: in order to use the Online Rental Application, you are required to be a professional property management company with a dedicated web page for your rental housing business!

To get setup with the Online Rental Application, Rental Research needs the following pieces of information:

1. Your application fee that you pass on to your applicants (the dollar amount, for example: $40.00).
2. Your company website address/URL.
3. Your company logo in jpg format.
4. A copy of your company’s Acceptance & Denial Policy.
5. A blank version of your rental application.
6. Email Recipients (who wants to receive the notification email once an Online Rental Application has been submitted).
7. Any other users besides yourself who would need access to view these Online Rental Applications (if applicable)
8. Complex Address: (used to show the applicant the address they are applying at), such as “123 Main Street, Anytown, MN”.
9. Application fee payment information – do you have a Paypal or Paylease account by which you can accept application fees?
